Why do we travel? Is there a tension between being a “global citizen” and cultivating a vibrant local community? Should the threat of climate change push us to rethink the balance? And how, if at all, do these questions intersect the Catholic faith?

Anna Keating (ND ’06) is a freelance writer, chaplain at Colorado College, and co-author of The Catholic Catalogue: A Field Guide to the Daily Acts That Make Up a Catholic Life. She co-owns and lives above Keating Woodworks, a handmade furniture studio in Colorado Springs.

Cosponsored by the Program of Liberal Studies, the College of Arts and Letters, and the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture.
